Craig Bitter MS,(Behavior Analyst & President) founded the company in 1993 when he viewed a systemic need for delivering home-based ABA services in a brain injury client’s “discharge” environment following residential treatment when progress appeared to erode away once the client returned home. With over 30 years of experience designing, training and implementing behavior plans, Craig has acquired a unique understanding of the complexities surrounding what it takes to achieve successful outcomes within clients’ home and community locations.  Craig received a BA degree in psychology and religion from Gustavus Adolphus College, (MN) and earned his MS degree in behavior analysis and therapy from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.  Since 1983, he has worked delivering in-home and school ABA services within child maltreatment as well as with the brain injury population.  He has worked as a behavior analyst in residential programs serving persons with developmental disabilities, mental illness and brain injuries.  Craig has co-authored a book chapter, served as a guest editor for the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis and presented at dozens of local, state and national meetings / conventions.

 

Todd Strong, MS BCBA, (Board Certified Behavior Analyst & Program Director) has served with the company for 10 years where he has led our services in west Michigan.  He is the current program director for all clinical services in the company.  Todd received his BA degree in psychology and his MS degree in applied behavior analysis, both from Florida Institute of Technology.  He has worked delivering home, school and clinic-based services to clients with autism spectrum disorder and other childhood disorders as well as to those with brain injuries.  Todd has presented at numerous brain injury and symposia meetings within Michigan.  Todd is certified to teach and certify others in Behavior Tools (BT).

 

Laura Myers, MS BCBA, (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) received her BS degree in psychology from Western Michigan University and her MS degree in behavior analysis and therapy from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.  With more than 10 years of experience, Laura has worked delivering home, school and clinic-based services to clients with autism spectrum disorder and as well as to those with brain injuries.  Laura has presented numerous papers and has been the senior author of two professional behavioral journal publications.  Laura is certified to teach and certify others in Professional Crisis Management (PCM).

 

Rebecca Heggemeyer, MS BCBA, (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) received her BS degree in psychology from Western Michigan University and her MS degree in applied psychology from University of Baltimore (MD).  With more than 10 years of experience, Rebecca has worked delivering home, school and clinic-based services to clients with autism spectrum disorder and as well as to those with brain injuries.  Rebecca has provided behavior analysis services on the neurobehavioral unit at the Kennedy Krieger Institute.  She has directed an applied verbal behavior program for early childhood ages at an autism program in Michigan.  Rebecca completed her ABA (required) course curricula at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.

 

A cadre of Behavior Technicians at the bachelor’s degree and paraprofessional levels also works within the company implementing our ABA services with select clients.
