Jennifer Means

Clinical BCBA

M Ed., BCBA, LBA

Jennifer (Jeni) is a Clinical BCBA and My Michigan Friends (MMF) Coordinator at Behavior Consultants Inc. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Oakland University in English and a master’s degree in education with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and autism from Arizona State University, becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2015. Prior to working for BC, Jeni gained experience teaching in a charter school, working as a behavior technician within an autism clinic, and working in home settings with individuals impacted by brain injury. While Jeni is passionate about all aspects of ABA, she is especially enthusiastic about natural environment teaching and implementing evidence-based programs to increase social skills, specifically in the community. Jeni has been part of the BC family for over 10 years, first as a behavior technician and now as a BCBA and MMF Coordinator, where she supports many of our clients in developing and meeting social skills goals while participating in fun community outings. When she’s not working, Jeni enjoys spending time with her family, especially her son (and don’t forget beloved beagle), as well as gardening, canning, cooking, and DIY projects around the house. Jeni is a HUGE Detroit Tigers baseball fan and loyal Michigander as she believes her home state is the most beautiful place on earth. Jeni’s primary service area(s) include Macomb County, Detroit and surrounding areas.
